AN ISLAND OF PLASTIC
The installation “An Island of Plastic”, by the artistic collective Luzinterruptus, also received the contribution of several citizens who delivered bottles and other plastic containers, enabling the creation of the floating platform which could be seen in the Bay of Cascais. This artwork highlights the problem surrounding the plastic dumped at sea and is a way to awaken minds and promote the adoption of new lifestyles.
These workshops turn its participants into the great creators of the artworks while enhancing the share of experiences and stimulating the taste for art. The residents become proud ambassadors of their village!
Também a obra “An Island of Plastic”, do coletivo artístico Luzinterruptus, contou com a contribuição de vários munícipes que entregaram garrafas e outros recipientes de plástico possibilitando a criação da plataforma flutuante que se pode ver na Baía de Cascais. A obra evidencia a problemática em torno do plástico que é despejado no mar, sendo este workshop uma forma de despertar mentalidades e promover a adopção de novos estilos de vida.
Estes workshops transformam os seus participantes nos grandes criadores das obras ao mesmo tempo que potenciam a partilha de experiências e estimulam o gosto pela arte. Os munícipes tornam-se orgulhosos embaixadores da sua Vila!
