In this artwork, light brings a social dimension to LUMINA, promoting a dignified, open and inclusive society that values, accepts and respects difference and makes social inclusion a natural component of civic duties. The public is invited to assume the role of creator of this collective project. With their participation, each person “illuminates” the ACAPO (Portuguese Association of Blind and Partially Sighted) sculpture, by buying and placing a candle on it. The amount raised from the sale of the candles reverses 100% to ACAPO. Brighten this cause!
Nesta obra, a Luz traz uma dimensão social ao LUMINA, promovendo uma sociedade digna, aberta e inclusiva, que valorize, aceite e respeite a diferença e torne a inclusão social numa componente natural dos deveres de cidadania. O público é convidado a assumir o papel de criador neste projeto coletivo. Com a sua participação, cada pessoa “ilumina” a escultura ACAPO, ao comprar e colocar nela uma vela. O valor angariado com a venda das velas reverte 100% a favor da ACAPO. Ilumine esta causa!
